• 53.4% of the CIF value of the used Japanese vehicle will be charged as tax.
• The value of the vehicle to be imported in Gabon is assessed by the Customs.
• Additional taxes may be applicable to the import of Japan used vehicles.

The grey card or the registration number for the used vehicle from Japan is issued only if the inspection certificate is obtained from the authorized center. If this is not done, then the imported vehicle may be destroyed and the importer will be liable to the cost of destruction of the vehicle.
