Left-hand-drive used Japanese vehicles are permitted for import in Guinea. Authorization from the Ministry of Transportation in Equatorial Guinea and the Port Authorities in Malabo is required for the import of Japan used cars. The approval from these authorities should be obtained before the shipment of the vehicle from Japan.

• Insurance policy
• Documents stating the engine capacity of the vehicle

• 51.9% of the CIF value will be imposed as duty and taxes for importing a used vehicle from Japan.
• Diplomats are exempted from duties and taxes.

No restrictions imply on the diplomats for importing used vehicles in Guinea.
