To import a used Japanese car in the Philippines:
Find a reliable Japanese used car exporter and check its background for reliability and services. Also, check the condition of the cars thoroughly before making a selection.
Select the car you want to import and go through the import regulations laid out for the import of Japan used vehicles in the Philippines.
After selecting the car, make the payment to the supplier by means of bank transfer which is generally preferred. To be able to make the payment, the supplier will send an invoice. Once the payment is done, keep the receipt for confirmation and further processes.
When the payment is done, the vehicle would be ready for shipment.
After the shipment has arrived at the port, all the documents will be checked and completed by FedEx (Licensee Airfreight 2100, Inc.) and will submit them on behalf of the importer of the vehicle.
The documents will then be processed at the Bureau of Customs by AF2100 and all the duties and taxes will be calculated.
After the payment of all the duties and taxes, the shipment can be released from the warehouse of the Customs.
